WAM Terms and Conditions
DEFINITIONS:
Authorized Repair Amount: The total amount of a claim authorized by the Administrator, including all covered charges. Any charges exceeding the Authorized Repair
Amount are not covered by this Contract and are Your responsibility.
Costs: The actual amounts charged for labor and parts by a licensed repair facility, as authorized by the Administrator, subject to the terms and limitations of this Contract. Parts and labor Costs are limited to the fair market value of the average regional retail market rate. Replacement parts may be new, remanufactured, non-original
equipment, manufacturer’s parts or parts of a like kind and quality when available and as deemed necessary by Administrator.
Covered Tire: The original equipment or like replacement tires.
Expiration Date: The Expiration Date is the Contract Sale Date plus the number of Term Months stated under Contract Term on the first page of this Contract.
Key(s): Up to two (2) properly functioning master keys and/or transponders (where applicable) provided to You for the Vehicle at the time of the Vehicle’s original delivery.
Obligor, We, Us and Our:
- For California Residents: This Vehicle Service Contract (“Contract”) is between the Contract Holder (“You” or “Your”) listed on the first page of this Contract and Vantage Warranty, Inc. (“We”, “Us”, or “Our”) as Obligor for this Contract. We are located at 8834 N Capital of Texas Hwy, #250, Austin, TX 78759. Vantage Warranty, Inc. is acting as its own Administrator of this Contract. Vantage Warranty, Inc., California Vehicle Service Agreement Provider license number 0I27710.
- For Missouri Residents: This Vehicle Service Contract (“Contract”) is between the Contract Holder (“You” or “Your”) listed above and Vantage Warranty, Inc. DBA Vantage Products, Inc. (“We”, “Us”, or “Our”) as Obligor for this Contract. We are located at 8834 N Capital of Texas Hwy, #250, Austin, TX 78759.
Repair Facility: The Seller or a licensed repair facility with a Tax Identification Number (TIN) that is approved by the Administrator.
Road Hazard: A condition that may cause damage to a tire on a road surface, including potholes, nails, glass, road debris, and curbs, or any other object or condition not normally found in a roadway.
Vehicle: The eligible passenger car, van, sport utility, or truck (1-ton or less) identified in Vehicle And Contract Sale Information on the first page of this Contract.
WHAT IS COVERED
Refer to the HOW TO FILE A CLAIM section for instructions on filing a claim and the WHAT IS NOT COVERED section for applicable exclusions.
TIRE:
- Tire Repair: We will pay for approved Costs associated with the repair of a Covered Tire damaged due to contact with a Road Hazard.
- Tire Replacement: If a Covered Tire cannot be repaired, We will pay for approved Costs associated with the replacement of a Covered Tire damaged due to contact with a Road Hazard, including a tire disposal/environmental fee.
- Mounting and Balancing: When a Covered Tire requires replacement, We will pay for approved Costs associated with mounting, balancing, valve stems and disposal.
PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR:
- We will pay for approved Costs associated with the repair of dents and dings of four inches (4”) or less that are on accessible exterior painted sheet metal body panels through existing Paintless Dent Repair techniques.
- Hail damage that is repairable through Paintless Dent Repair techniques is covered under this Contract up to the dollar value of Your comprehensive damage deductible applicable to hail damage or one thousand dollars ($1000), whichever is less, and only if a hail claim was filed with the comprehensive policy insurer of the Vehicle.
WINDSHIELD REPAIR:
- We will pay for approved Costs associated with the repair of cracks, stars, and chips of six inches (6”) or less on the Vehicle’s windshield.
- If a windshield cannot be repaired, it will not be replaced under this Contract.
INTERIOR:
We will pay for approved Costs associated with:
- The reconditioning of the interior surface fabric, leather, vinyl, carpet, upholstery, carpeted floor mats, as well as door trim and center console pigmented plastics that become damaged due to normal wear and tear, resulting in stains, fading, discoloring, and cracking. If professional reconditioning does not repair the damage, We will
replace the surface. - The repair of interior surfaces that become damaged due to normal wear and tear, resulting in rips, tears, burns and punctures up to two inches (2”) in length and diameter, and loose seam stitches. If professional reconditioning does not repair the damage, We will replace the surface.
EXTERIOR:
We will pay for approved Costs associated with:
- The reconditioning of the factory painted clear coat surfaces that become damaged due to normal wear and tear, resulting in fading, chalking, loss of gloss, acid rain, tree sap, bird droppings, hard water etching, industrial fallout, accidental paint overspray, road salt, de-icing agents, sand abrasions, and all insects. If professional reconditioning does not repair the damage, We will repaint the surface. Repainting is limited to the damaged area only.
- The reconditioning of the following surfaces that become damaged due to normal wear and tear: chrome surfaces resulting in hard water spotting, headlight lenses and sideview mirrors resulting in dulling or fading, and aluminum alloy wheels resulting in brake dust staining.
VEHICLE KEY:
We will pay for approved Costs associated with:
- The repair, or if not repairable, the replacement of Key(s) that are lost, stolen, damaged and will not work, or become inoperable. We will pay up to a maximum of eight hundred dollars ($800) per occurrence, to include any applicable programming, throughout the term of this Contract.
- The replacement of additional keys on Your key ring that are lost or stolen. We will pay up to a maximum of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250) per occurrence, throughout the term of this Contract.
- If You are locked out of Your home, We will provide services to unlock Your home. We will pay up to a maximum of one hundred dollars ($100) per occurrence, throughout the term of this Contract. You must demonstrate proof of residence, such as a valid driver’s license with the address indicated, and be present at the residence for home lock-out services.
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE: (888-352-1425):
Roadside assistance is available to You in the United States, its territories and possessions and Canada if the Vehicle becomes inoperable as a result of any condition not specifically excluded in the WHAT IS NOT COVERED section. This assistance covers towing or winch-out service, flat tire replacement using the Vehicle’s inflated spare, delivery of fuel, water and other fluids necessary to operate the Vehicle (excluding the cost of fluids), lock-out assistance, jump start (excluding hybrid or electric vehicle main battery power pack). This benefit is up to one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) per incident. Our ability to provide some of the benefits listed above may be limited due to safety considerations or state regulations. Winch-out service will not be provided if the Vehicle was intentionally driven off-road. When towing is necessary the Vehicle will be towed to the Seller if within twenty-five (25) miles of the disablement site. If the disablement site is further than twenty-five (25) miles from the Seller, the Vehicle will be towed to the nearest Repair Facility or to any location requested by You.
